The Presidential Life Graded Benefit (whole) Life policy is issued on a guaranteed issue basis for ages 40 - 80 in most states.** There are no medical questions, no medical examinations and no medical tests required to obtain this insurance. The minimum benefitis $1,000 and the maximum is $50,000***.

Benefits payable under the Graded Benefit (whole) Life policy are limited in the first two or three years, depending on the age of the insured (see Plan Description below).

Eligibility

1. Applications may only be signed in the insured person's state of residency.
2. The person insured must be able to sign the application in his or her personal signatory capacity (a mark is acceptable (with explanation)
3. Assisted Living, health care or nursing home facility patients or residents are not eligible.
4. Funeral home and burial societies may not be a party to the application, nor may either be named as a beneficiary.
5. Two monthly premiums must accompany the application with a currently dated check - no post dated checks are acceptable.

Under age 65
The benefit payable in the event of death of the insured during the first 3 policy years that does not result from accidental death is an amount equal to the premiums paid plus 5% compounded annually.

Age 65 or older
The benefit payable in the event of death of the insured during the first 2 policy years that does not result from accidental death is an amount equal to the premiums paid plus 5% compounded annually.

If death from Accidental Means
During a policy's first 2- or 3-years of the graded benefit period, the death benefit payable under the policy will be all of the following:

1. premiums paid, plus
2. 5% compounded annually and
3. an accidental death benefit amount equal to the full face amount of the policy.***

For example:
If the benefit is $50,000 and death is by accident, $50,000 will be paid plus all the premium plus 5% of the premium paid.
